We have a passion to allow every business to “brand like the big guys” and as a result have thousands of clients in the UK using It’s a Wrap, not to mention countless overseas as far afield as Chile, New Zealand, and the USA!

The type of clients we work closely with range from food trucks and home businesses to famous chefs and well-known international food chains. However, we know that some new businesses in particular struggle to make branded greaseproof a priority purchase when there are so many other things to consider. That’s why we love running our regular giveaway campaigns on Instagram! Our giveaways provide everyone the opportunity to win branded greaseproof paper – whether they’re an existing customer, newly created start up business or thinking of making the switch to custom printed greaseproof, everyone is in with a chance.

So how big a deal is it to win? We chat to some of our most recent winners and ask for their feedback!

Whisper BakesFounded by Katie Waller, Whisper Bakes opened in March 2021. They’re an online bakery based in Sherburn in Elmet near Leeds, offering nationwide postal delivery and have more recently been popping up in local shopping centres - with more locations to come this year. Making at array of delicious baked treats, Katie loves to experiment with new flavours and ideas and is looking forward to launching new items through the coming year.   

 

Café Village Green – Run by Sara Price, Café Village Green are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year – a huge achievement, especially given the last couple of years! Based in the heart of Eyam in the Peak District, the team serve up their gorgeous in-house bakes, breakfasts and lunches alongside carefully chosen gifts.

 

Brooklyn Brownie owners

Brooklyn Brownie Company – Father and Son team John and Leo, opened their Northampton based Brownie Empire in 2019. Created originally as a local mail order service, their imaginative and super loaded brownie creations have proven so popular, they now offer worldwide delivery and have plans to launch a food truck later this year.  

 

- How did it feel to win branded greaseproof paper?

John - Winning was really out of the blue! We were extremely happy as it was a purchase we were considering making really soon, so to win such high-quality paper was fantastic!

Sara - I was super happy to win as it was something we’d thought of purchasing at various points but hadn’t ever got round to doing. I don’t usually win anything, so it was an even better surprise!

Katie - I was so excited to be the winner of the greaseproof paper! I’d looked in to purchasing this for my business previously but with one thing and another hadn’t made the purchase yet. I am so thrilled with how it’s turned out and love what it means for my brand! 

 

- Greaseproof paper is really versatile in its applications, how are you using yours?

Sara - We use our branded greaseproof to give a pop of colour when presenting our bakes in our patisserie fridge, to line wooden boards before sending food out and to wrap sandwiches & even gifts. It’s really versatile!

John - The paper currently has made for fantastic backdrops for some of our product photography. For a small business, social media reach is a big part of our marketing, so being able to brand each picture of our product was crucial. However, our main plan for our branded greaseproof is to use it alongside our food truck sales which will hopefully launch this month.

Katie – I’ve only recently received my branded greaseproof having won a few weeks back, but I plan to use the paper in my postal boxes and also at my pop ups. I think it gives a really professional finish to our stand and provides that much needed brand recognition. 

 

 - Would you say that adding your brand to your products has helped business at all?

Katie – There’s no doubt that it will, definitely! It helps build brand recognition, and as a business we appear more professional and polished.

 

Sara - I think it has taken presentation to another level - the design is great, and it fits in brilliantly with our overall attention to detail in the café. I’m hoping to have some professional branding photos done and will definitely feature the wrap!

John - As a small business every little bit of bespoke branding helps, seeing a small logo on any piece of material a customer is handed helps them believe in that brand. I think handing customers your handmade food on generic bland paper that everyone uses, can diminish everything about the experience.

Customers love to share photos of their food purchases and not having your brand present honestly minimises your potential visibility on social media.

 

- Would you recommend It’s a Wrap to other businesses?

Sara - I definitely would – the team provide great communication and the greaseproof has upped our game. It will help strengthen brand recognition for us and help communicate our values.

Katie - I’d 100% recommend It’s a Wrap! The service has been incredible, every member of the team I’ve been in touch with throughout the process has been really friendly and helpful; Making sure my design was just right and keeping me updated right through to delivery.
